Try to hammer the cork into the wine bottle. The only problem is you have to drink the whole bottle in one sitting.

bite it open

cut the seal and bang the bottum against a hard surface

Not without ruining the cork.
You can take a knife and get it out with that or anything else you can find. Then to get the bits of cork out of the wine, take a coffee filter and pour the wine through it into another container. That will get the cork out of the wine and it is good as new!

that’s funny. last time we didn’t have cork and we opened it with a knife. it worked but lots of pieces fell off to the bottle. i ended up drinkin it like that but takin the litle pieces of my mouth. it was a real nice old wine and we didn’t want to throw it away, so don’t try it like that :)

Take a tube of mascara (or something about that size) and push the cork down into the bottle. (It’s not that difficult.) Much easier than trying to get the cork OUT of the bottle without a corkscrew.

Well… what if you try to borrow a wine opener from one of your new neighbours or just try to push the cork in the bottle instead of pulling it out. Sorry, don’t have any more ideas.

Cut the top of cork off, then push the rest into the bottle, You gots ta drink it all though, enjoy

Take two thin knives and slide them down the sides of the cork and wiggle it out

The knife trick: Push the cork down through the neck of the bottle with a standard dinner knife. It will bob around a bit, but it works and if you do it right you won’t have flakes of cork floating around your glass.

There’s also the famous and flashy sword trick which saps the neck off the bottle, but we won’t get into that skill here, and since you just moved, you probably don’t have your saber unpacked yet…

Have fun….

I usually carve/dig the cork out with a knife; but the last bit won’t come out, so I push it down into the bottle.

Try to make something that looks like a cork screw by untwisting a metal coat hanger. The thicker the wire the better. Try to twist the shorter twisted end into the cork. If you have a way to trim some of the extra wire off it might work better. Leave enough on the long side to have a handle.

Get a hammer, a screwdriver, and a large screw. Screw the screw into the cork all the way down leaving enough to pry it out half an inch with the nail remover part of the hammer. Then use the pliers to pull the cork gently out of the bottle. I’ve never tried this but I’ve heard it works very well. Good luck!

Push the cork into the bottle

One easy trick is usin a long and large screw and pliers. Screw in the screw until most of it is in, but leave enough out to grab with the pliers. Pull straight and firmly.

Another is to unseal it and pound it on a hard and massive surface, by carefully carpeting that surface (with an old dishcloth, folded to the size of the bottom of the bottle) as not to break the glass of the bottle. Make sure you hit the bottom flatly and sevceral times. Not to hard tough.

HTH

GET A WIRE HANGER AND UNTWIST IT SO IT’S APART AND TAKE THE END THAT DOESN’T HAVE THE CURVE PART AND PLACE IT ON TOP OF BOTTLE AND TWIST IT SO THE SPIRAL PART IS IN THE CORK 1/2 WAY AND PULL.

Have hammer and nail punch?

If you have a hammer and a large screw or nail, hammer the screw or nail in upside down.

Make sure the screw or nail doesn’t go into the bottle, only the cork.

Pour the entire bottle into another capped container.

Drink at your leisure.

This would be a great way to meet your neighbors.

either a wire hanger or a knife

Use a Knife to push it though

A BIG screwdriver. You take the seal off the bottle, then push the screwdriver into the cork. It should move and you can push the cork into the bottle. You’ll have to drink the whole bottle in one evening, but that hasn’t ever been a problem for me and my husband. :)

use a sword
